Our Z-Wave enabled Dimmable Smart Wall Socket is powered using FIBARO's Z-Wave based 'Dimmer 2' modules, which, in our experience, are the best on the market.  Firstly, they work on the hugely popular Z-Wave protocol meaning they will work with thousands of Z-Wave vendors' equipment.  Secondly, the dimming capability that FIBARO built into their device is so advanced it analyses the type of light bulb(s) connected to it and automatically calibrates its settings for optimal performance, resulting in one of the most universally compatible lighting dimmers in the world!  We have incorporated an in-line fuse to enable these smart sockets to replace existing wall sockets on a traditional ring main circuit.

For safety, we have made use of round pin sockets so they are easily distinguishable from regular sockets as non-lighting appliances may cause damage to the dimming circuitry if connected.  Because of that we have included a matching plug, which is just the same to wire up as a standard plug!

Each Z-Wave enabled Dimmable Smart Socket can handle lighting loads up to 250w (this is the total wattage of all light bulbs connected to the lighting circuit) and works with both filament and LED bulbs.

This 1 Gang Z-Wave enabled Dimmable Smart Socket can be controlled remotely, using the FIBARO app, or by scene based control for automation.

Our Z-Wave enabled Dimmable Smart Socket comes ready wired up for easy and fast installation.  It includes toolless clip connectors for super-fast, hassle-free connection to your existing wiring - in fact we believe it is easier and faster to install than a regular wall socket.

Please note, our Z-Wave enabled Dimmable Smart Socket needs at least 35mm of depth, so if needed we also sell extra deep back boxes and back box extenders for when your existing ones aren't deep enough.
